Celebrations
On Friday 18th of September the staff and committee celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a party.
We were joined by past and present playgroup children and their families and many friends of the group from over the years. Photographs spanning the 20 years were on display to bring back lots of happy memories.
A tree was planted in our new wildlife garden by Sheila Bonfield to mark the celebration.
Toddler Group
Our new Toddler Group started on 16th September. The group is held each Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 3pm in the upstairs hall of the Parish Rooms.
The cost is £1.50 per family.
Book Library
Wednesday 17th June saw the start of our Book Lending Library. This is open after every session where children can choose a book to take home and share with their parents/carers. We have over 70 new books available with a third being bought with the money raised at our Easter Celebration.
Books are on loan for up to a week and each child has their own Nature Book Trail Card to record the books they have borrowed. We hope that the Library will become a popular resource for the children who attend this setting.
